MORE POSING - 34 DAYS AND 27 DAYS OUT

After trying and trying to figure out how to flex my back muscles... I think I finally got it down. But I still need days and days of practicing on those 5 inch stilletos. So would it be weird to walk around the mall in them???? KIDDING!

But posing parties will be had the next few weekends. That should be a good laugh for my friends. So I am going to share the latest pictures. I hope by sharing these on line first, that it will start to ease my fear of being on stage. Because at this point I am still thinking they are going to have to say, "will number 42 please take off your bathrobe, this IS a figure competition..." (Maybe a glass of wine before I go on could help;)

So here are the newest photos.
Laura seems to think there is a difference all around between the two sessions, but the only real difference I see is in my back. Ok, I am actually going to admit.... watching my muscles develop has been very cool. I am actually excited to spend the day at the Westin Resort pool tomorrow... and I never feel that way during bathing suit season. Guess forgoing that wine and cake has some rewards....

Thanks for checking in. Much love ~ Peace ~ xxoo

So here are all the poses. The first is 34 days out and the second is 27 days...

TWENTY SIX DAYS OUT

Ok... so now its getting down to the days and I am not sure if I actually have legs left anymore. I am pretty sure where there were legs, there are now heavy poles of lead, or at least that is what it feels like. I know that I can make it 25 more days...

As you know my biggest temptation is wine and cake of any sort. Well this weekend I did not just attend one party, but THREE! Two baby showers and a graduation party. I made it, but as you can see from the picture, I almost lost it. I could tell you exactly how THAT cake smelled though. I think I must have stopped by it a few hundred times during the party just to let the aroma of butter and sugar and yumminess linger in my nose. Oh and it was AWESOME watching all my friends enjoy glass after glass of mimosas and bloody marys.

At this point I think I have invited myself to at least a dozen of my friend's homes for dinner after the competition. A real homemade Italian meal, homemade tamales from another, and don't forget the coconut cupcakes from Maryann (who made the ever so tempting cake below). Looks like I better quickly find my next event to train for, or all this hard work will quickly fade.
HALF MARATHON ANYONE????? I think that will be my next event, unless my Volunteer trip to Tanzania pans out and then I will be training for my trek up Mt. Kilimanjaro. Again, any interested parties?

Keep praying for me and sending me the "you can do this" vibe. 25 days tomorrow left to go, and I need all the encouragement I can get. Come day 15.... and its all super psycho diet and the real count down to get show ready. Thanks again for your support! Much love!

Peace ~ xxoo

And now for the temptation cake photo:
